Astona fascinates its youthfulness, open-minded, all aspects that are concentrated in the future. We are building Eurasian Capital. Whoever comes to Astona may see the part of his/her native city or native country. Without doubt Astona will become one of the best cities in the world. The old city went away; and new, modern, and beautiful buildings from the glass and concrete have been growing up. Among them are the skillfully decorated buildings of the Parliament, Government, Kazakhoil, and the Buildings of Ministries. Another visiting card of Astona is night illumination. Many groups of the architects, artists, decorators worked with it. Skillful illumination of the dwelling houses, administrative and public buildings, a lot of lights in the streets, garlands, different colors of the fountains on the Ishim River in summer, and ice-city in winter, original skylights on the embankment, bright shop-windows and signboards of the snack-bars, cafes, casinos, shops, restaurants and night clubs formed unique look of the night in Astona, that corresponds metropolis level. Architectural expressiveness changed cardinally reconstructed embankment of the Ishim River, and motor bridge across it with the sculptural compositions of the snow leopards, air summer-houses, open-work fences, lights, review grounds and cascades of the fountains on the water smooth surface. The embankment of the river became a favorite place for the entertainment of the city-dwellers. In our city two universal sports complex were built. They are the biggest in the country. Today in Kazakhstan Astona is very attractive region for living and business.
